Landlord/Tenant

Landlord/Tenant problems can also be resolved through informal mediation. In mediation, the mediator intervenes between two disputing parties in an effort to reach an agreement, compromise or reconciliation. Intended to settle a dispute quickly and inexpensively, mediation can be requested by either a landlord or tenant.

By choosing the court process as well as litigation over mediation, not only does it take more time, but it generally costs one or both parties more cash in terms of not only attorney fees but in missing time from work to appear in court numerous times to resolve the issue.

The mediator can allow the parties to voice their concerns or grievances faster and cheaper than the same process would take in court.
